Thank you Dr. Leal and staff for using Lutalyase on Zazou post whelping to end the profuse bleeding. It worked and you were the only veterinary practice that knew what I was talking about after a consult with Dr. Hutch ( Hutchinson.) Thanks for saving our girl’s life, had we listened to the local vets, she wouldn’t be here today. Gratefully, Michelle and family.

I cannot explain how amazing this place is. Not only do they have the technology, knowledge, and outside resources, they also have compassion and heart.

Thank you to Dr. Clegg and Dr. Leal. Last night was a very hard night with very unexpected news of our Rebel. Though the outcome was not what we wanted and surgery may have hurt him more, we want to thank you for all your hard work and efforts to save my Rebel after a rough surgery. A big thank you to Dr. Clegg who stayed extremely late for our Rebies when she didn’t have and stayed even later so… we could say goodbye. I can’t thank you enough for letting us stop by to have a moment with him. Though its very hard for us to show it as we are so saddened by the sudden loss we can not thank you enough for trying. Joe, Zena, Zeus and I are very grateful you did your best until the very last minute for us as if he was human. A big part of our family is missing but knowing he got the best care before is a huge comfort. THANK YOU. Love Joe, Leia, Zena and Zeus Stella.

Thanks so much for the quick test results on our kitten, Oscar. We are very grateful and thankful that his results are negative! We will be bringing our other kitten, Felix, to see Dr. Leal in the near future. As a pet care provider, I will be recommending BAH to my clients. Thank you so much!

Blairstown Animal Hospital really goes above and beyond with the care they give to your animals. I have been taking my beloved pets to Blairstown for over 15 years. Not only do they know what they are doing, the entire staff treats your pets as their own. Unfortunately we had to put our 5 year old Australian Shepherd Dante down after they found a mass affecting his bladder and prostrate. They call…ed me yesterday to let me know Dante’s cremains were at the office. My fiance went to pick them up and we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the bad. Not only were his cremains interred in a beautiful wooden box with a gold name plate, but one of the technicians took the time to make paw prints of his paws and framed them for us. They also gave us two adorable pictures they had taken when playing with him with antlers on his head. He must have loved them because he was smiling in the pictures. When I put antlers on his head, I got the I am not amused face. I love Blairstown Animal Hospital and recommend them to anyone who asks.

We raise Dachshunds and have had issues with two. Each time the staff and vets were super! Very caring, friendly and spent time to make sure we had all the information we needed. I am happy to say that our two girls are quite happy and back to 95%. So wonderful after being paralyzed for a few weeks. Thank you so much!

I’m a breeder. Most Vets don’t like breeders. I can truly say that after almost 15 years of service to me and my dogs I …have never known a more competent, compassionate group of people, ever. I trust Dr Leal and all the Vets to deliver the highest quality of service in a professional, respectful manner. Just the BEST!!!

★★★★★ My wife and I would like to thank Blairstown Hospital from a chamber in the human heart that exists solely for that special animal lover who knows what it’s like to share in that love. We would especially like to thank Dr. Clegg, who along with the rest of her staff, reminds me of a saying used by HBO: “…Simply the best.” Compassion and sincerity are not only words at Blairstown Animal Hospital, but they’re fundamental ideas that are practiced long after you and your best friend walk out the door. You may leave their hospital, but you don’t leave their thoughts.  During the visit that no friend wants to make with their pal, it was Dr. Clegg’s quiet understanding and sympathetic guidance that carried us through a time when we weren’t there with a doctor – we were there with a friend.

If you were to ask someone what they were doing three weeks ago on a Tuesday afternoon, they probably wouldn’t remember. But the majority of visits to any veterinary hospital results in a day you’ll most likely remember – many times resonating in a lifelong memory. My wife and I have had such memories all around the country and for a number of years now. But in all our travels and all our time, no
one has welcomed us into a family with such selfless conviction and warmth as did the team at the Blairstown Animal Hospital.

Dr. Clegg, my wife and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your card. The only thing that meant more than your words was the time you spent with us as we said goodbye and celebrated the life of our dog, Clay.  Thanks again, Dr. Clegg and everyone at the Blairstown Animal Hospital. If there’s one decision we’ll always be sure of it’s that whether we’re back living in Montana,
Idaho, Vermont or New Jersey, and whether our four-legged friend has a headache or a hangnail you’re just a phone call away. … ready to save a life and provide all of the intangibles that make loving your pet one of the best parts of life.  Viva le Blairstown Animal Hospital.
