Dr. Carol Clegg grew up in southern New Jersey and attended Saint Francis College (now University) in Pennsylvania where she received her B.S. in Biology with minors in mathematics and physics, before going to North Carolina State University – College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from veterinary school in 1994 and moved to Blairstown to begin her veterinary career. Dr. Clegg has been with Blairstown Animal Hospital since 1998. She is a member of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Metropolitan NJ Veterinary Medical Association. Over the years, Dr. Clegg has become interested in internal medicine cases and dermatology. She enjoys getting to know her clients and addressing their individual needs. Dr. Clegg currently resides in Blairstown wither her husband and two young children. Always outnumbered by animal residents, the current household animal census includes one rescued dog, three rescued cats, one rabbit, and two beta fish. Dr. Clegg enjoys spending time with her family on camping trips, garden projects, visiting grandparents, and trips to Avalon in the summer. In June you can find her participating in the American Cancer Society North Warren Relay for Life with the hospital team she formed, BAH Warriors. And in the fall she leads the BARK for LIFE team at the hospital.
