April is Heartworm Awareness Month

Every year, there are many pets that are diagnosed with heartworm disease.  The cost to treat this disease is very expensive.  The good news is, there are yearly tests that can be done to determine if your pet has been infected with heartworm disease.  And even better….is the fact that there are preventatives that we can provide you to keep your pets safe from heartworm.

It seems that people don’t take heartworm as serious as they should, but the fact is, it is prevalent in this area, and if your pet contracts this disease, it can also be a major factor in the spread of the disease.

So, as a pet parent we know you want to insure your pets are not infected.  And as you know, it is much easier to prevent heartworm than to treat it.  To insure your pets are not infected, treat them by using a preventative.

We carry a variety of heartworm preventatives and we are sure that we have one that will meet your needs.

If you haven’t had your pet tested for this disease, please don’t hesitate, consider it your pledge towards Heartworm Awareness Month and call us to make the appointment today!!!
